Tilio Terms of Use

Version dated 30 April 2026

1. Publisher

Tilio is published by Erwan Brosseau, an individual.

Contact: contact@tilio-app.com
Website: https://tilio-app.com

The publisher’s private address is not published in these terms. It may be provided to authorities, service providers or legally entitled persons where required by applicable law.

In these terms, “Tilio”, “we”, “us” or “the publisher” refer to the publisher of the application.

2. Purpose of the Application

Tilio is a family medication and dose tracking application. It allows users to create profiles, add treatments, schedule doses, receive reminders, mark a dose as taken, not taken, ignored or missed, and view a history depending on the household’s rights and subscription.

Tilio is an organisation and tracking tool. The application does not replace a healthcare professional, medical advice, a prescription, a pharmacy, an emergency service or any medical or professional device.

3. No Medical Advice

The information entered in Tilio is provided by users. Tilio does not verify the accuracy, relevance, dosage, interactions, contraindications or suitability of a treatment for any person.

You remain solely responsible for:

  • checking prescriptions, dosages and schedules with a healthcare professional;
  • reviewing the information entered in the application;
  • deciding whether a dose should be taken, changed, ignored or cancelled;
  • contacting a healthcare professional or emergency services in case of doubt, error, adverse effect or emergency.

Notifications, widgets, histories or statuses displayed by Tilio may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. They do not guarantee that a treatment has or has not been taken.

4. User Account and Household

Using Tilio may require creating an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.

Tilio organises data within a “household”. Depending on your role and settings, you may invite other adults or helpers, manage tracked people, create treatments, view histories or modify certain information.

When you invite someone to a household or share information, you are responsible for ensuring that this person is authorised to access the relevant data.

5. Data Entered in the Application

You may enter information about people, treatments, times, doses, notes and dose events. Some information may relate to health and may be sensitive.

You agree not to enter data about another person unless you have the right to do so. For children, minors or dependent persons, you must have the necessary authority, right or consent under applicable law.

6. Local Storage, Synchronisation and History

Depending on the household and active subscription:

  • some data may be stored locally on the device;
  • some data may be synchronised with a cloud service to allow sharing between household members;
  • the available history may be limited for users without premium access.

As of this version, households without premium access keep a local dose log history limited to 7 days. Premium households benefit from unlimited history, subject to technical limits, service availability and applicable rules.

These rules may change to improve the service, reduce data volume, fix technical issues or comply with legal obligations.

7. Premium Subscription, Free Trial and In-App Purchases

Some features are reserved for premium households, including depending on the app version:

  • tracking multiple people;
  • inviting other adults, parents or trusted helpers;
  • more than three active treatments;
  • full history beyond the free 7-day window;
  • advanced history filters;
  • home screen widget.

Prices are defined in the App Store and may change. Where a free trial is offered, its duration is 14 days unless different information is displayed in the App Store at the time of subscription.

Subscriptions, free trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are managed through Apple’s App Store, according to Apple’s terms and the information displayed at the time of purchase.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple account. Deleting the application or your Tilio account does not necessarily cancel an active Apple subscription.

8. Authorised Use

You agree to use Tilio in accordance with the law, these terms and the rights of others.

You must not:

  • intentionally enter false, unlawful or rights-infringing information;
  • attempt to access another household’s data without authorisation;
  • bypass technical or subscription limitations;
  • disrupt the operation of the application or related services;
  • use Tilio for a medical emergency.

9. Availability, Errors and Technical Limitations

Tilio is provided as is, with a reasonable-efforts obligation. The application may contain errors, be temporarily unavailable, depend on third-party services, or behave differently depending on the device, system, network, notifications, subscription or permissions granted.

Reminders and notifications may fail to be delivered, be delayed or not appear. You must keep any independent tracking or reminder system required by your situation.

10. Intellectual Property

The Tilio application, its name, interfaces, texts, graphics, logos, visual elements, code and content are protected by applicable intellectual property rights unless otherwise stated.

The data you enter remains your data or the data of the people concerned. You grant us only the rights necessary to host, synchronise, display, back up and process this data in order to provide the service.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tilio shall not be liable for damage resulting in particular from:

  • an input, interpretation or usage error;
  • a medical or treatment decision made based on the application;
  • a missing, delayed or incorrect notification;
  • unavailability of the application or a third-party service;
  • unauthorised access caused by shared credentials or an unsecured device;
  • data loss following account deletion, device change, failure, uninstall or synchronisation issue.

Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.

12. Account Deletion and End of Use

You may stop using Tilio at any time. Some local data may remain on the device until the application is deleted or the data is erased.

Where available, you may request account deletion from within the application. Deletion may result in permanent loss of the associated data, subject to legal obligations and technical constraints described in the privacy policy.

Deleting your Tilio account does not automatically delete data managed by Apple for purchases and does not necessarily cancel an active subscription. You must manage the subscription from your Apple account.

13. Changes

We may modify these terms to reflect changes to the application, features, subscription, law or our practices.

The applicable version is the one available in the application or on the website at the time of use.

14. Governing Law

Unless more protective mandatory rules apply in your country of residence, these terms are governed by Swiss law.

If you act as a consumer, you may benefit from mandatory rights provided by your country of residence, including in the European Union, the United Kingdom or other jurisdictions. Nothing in these terms limits those mandatory rights.

Subject to mandatory consumer venues, the competent venue is Fribourg, Switzerland.

15. Language

These terms may be provided in several languages. In case of discrepancy between versions, the French version prevails, subject to applicable mandatory rules.
